Overview
There may be times when a course facilitator or owner must send a reminder to staff regarding an assignment on a course. Use the steps and support below to learn how to send a reminder regarding an assignment that is due or past due in our LMS Cortex!
Step One
From your Course page, select "Grades" from the course menu on the left-hand side.
Step Two
You will now see a chart that lists the assignments on the x-axis and the list of students on the y-axis. Find the assignment for which you want to send a message.
Hover over the column on the right-hand side, and three dots will appear.
Click the three dots and select "Message Students Who", as shown below.
Step Three
A new window will appear like the one shown below.
Here, you can customize the message! You can determine who the message will be, change the subject, review which individuals will receive the message, and include attachments or other items.
When you've got the settings how you want and typed your message, please click "Send".
