Many teachers use applications that are specific to their content area or their style of teaching. Teachers are free to use these tools as long as they are being cognizant of student data privacy.
In some cases, teachers may find that they have need for premium or deluxe versions of these "free" applications. (Some examples could be: Nearpod, EdPuzzle, FlipGrid, etc.). When teachers need a premium license, they have three choices:
- Pay for it themselves.
- Talk to their School Director about paying for the license.
- Apply for Network funds for educational technology research & development funds. (This process is being developed as of Oct. 1, 2020 and does not exist yet)
