To create a post, announcement, or event, go to the main feed of your class or advisory and click +Create at the top right corner. That will prompt you to choose between: Post, Announcement, Event, Volunteer Help, Conference/Office Hours.

1. Create a Post
If you would like to create a post, click +Create at the top right corner and choose the Post button. If have any drafts or templates saved, those will appear first. If not, click Create New on the top right.
You will then be prompted to choose the audience. You can choose the entire school, specific individuals, or you can create a special filter if you would like to create a targeted post.
After choosing the audience you can click Next in the top right corner. This is where you can draft the post. You can type any message you would like in the main box.
Before posting, you can have a few other features to choose from, which can be found in the bar right under the main message box.
You can add Photos/Videos, add files, choose to schedule the post (if you would like it to go out at a specific time in the future), turn on Voice Call, and more. You can also click on Advanced customize message > to review/update what the email preview, voice content, and SMS text will look like.
Once you are done, click Post at the top right corner. You can either post it right away or save it as a template, to be used again in the future. This is what a post looks like:
2. Create an Announcement
If you would like to create an announcement, click +Create at the top right corner and choose the Announcement button. Follow the same steps outlined above in choosing an audience and creating the announcement. The one difference, it will ask you to choose when you want the announcement banner will be displayed (by choosing Show From and then Show Until).
Before posting, you can have a few other features to choose from, which can be found in the bar right under the main message box. You can add Photos/Videos, add files, choose to schedule the post (if you would like it to go out at a specific time in the future), turn on Voice Call, and more. Click Post whenever you are ready in the top right corner. You can either post it right away or save it as a template, to be used again in the future. This is what an announcement banner looks like:
3. Create an Event
if you would like to create an Event, click +Create at the top right corner and choose the Event button. You will then be prompted to enter details about your event.
Choose a Title, Location, and the Start & End Times of the event. You can also make this a Repeat event if you would like (i.e. office hours happening once a week).
As you scroll down this window, you can also set who you would like to invite and whether an RSVP is required or not.
When you are done reviewing & editing your event, click Send at the top right corner. You will then see your event pop up in the main feed and it will also add to the School's calendar.
