Adding DSST Outlook to Mobile Device

Overview

Adding your DSST Account to your phone allows you to access your email and calendar directly from your mobile device. Below you will find step-by-step instructions with screenshots to help you set up and get logged in to your DSST account using the phone's mail application. 

Note: In order to get Teams on your phone you need to download the "Microsoft Teams" App from your Phone's App Store and log in with your DSST Credentials. 

• iPhone Users

iPhone Users

Step One: Open the "Mail" App on your iPhone 

Step Two: Select "Microsoft Exchange" Account

     

Step Three: Enter your DSST email address (For example [e-mail])

Step Four: After the window below appears select "Configure Manually"

Step Five: The following screen will appear. You will need to fill in the following information and click "Next".

Server: mail.dsstpublicschools.org

Domain: dsst.local

Username: firstname.lastname

Password: Password for your DSST Account

Step Six: You will be able to choose your own features here. You can select what items you want to sync with the new account such as: contacts, calendars, reminders, and notes. When you are finished click "Save". Wait a few minutes and you start receiving emails!

Android or Google Users 

Step One: On your device go to " Menu" then "Settings". At the bottom of the "Settings" screen click "Accounts and Sync" 

Step Two: At the bottom of the "Accounts and sync" screen click "Add Account". You will then see a list of options choose "Microsoft Exchange".

Step Three: You will now see a "Set Up" Screen. Enter the following information below. 

Field	Enter
Email	[e-mail] (e.g. [e-mail])
Password	Password for your Staff Laptop
Domain/User Name	first.last (e.g. joe.smith)
Exchange Server	mail.dsstpublicschools.org

Outlook App

Step One: After downloading the Outlook app from the iOS or Android store, select add account.

There you will be able to enter yourDSST Email [e-mail]

(e.g [e-mail])

Then press the Add Account button

 Step Two:

The Outlook app will then ask for a password. Before you enter it in select the tab "Advanced Settings". The screen will then add extra options as seen below.

• The server will be mail.dsstpublicschools.org.
• The Username will be your entire email address.
• The password will be the password to your school laptop. Then select "Sign In"
