Accessing Shared Assessments

Overview 

One of the great features of Pear Assessment is the variety of ways to collaborate with your colleagues, especially on assessment design, creation, and data review. Grade level or content areas teams will often collaborate on assessments throughout the year. Follow the steps and supports below to learn how to access assessments that were shared with you. 

• Accessing a shared assessment via email 
• Accessing assessments shared via a URL  
• Accessing a shared assessment in Pear Assessment 

Accessing a Shared Assessment via Email 

If your colleague selected to send you an email notification you will receive an email from Pear Assessment Support like the one below. 

The email will provide instructions on how to access the test in Pear Assessment and it will include a link directly to the assessment. When you click the link you will be redirected to Pear Assessment to view or edit the assessment depending upon the share settings. 

If you receive an error or are unable to access the test request that the "Share with Link" setting be turned on. More information on how to do so can be found here

Accessing Assessment Shared via URL

If you receive a URL address to an Pear Assessment assessment you should be directed to the assessment. If you are not signed in to Clever you will have to sign in before being able to access the assessment as shown below. 

Access Shared Assessments in Pear Assessment

You can always access assessments that were shared with you directly in Pear Assessment. From your Pear Assessment Dashboard open the menu and select "Test" to get to the Test Library. 

In the Filter menu, select "Shared with Me" where you will see all assessments that have been shared.

If you are unable to find the assessment select "CLEAR FILTER" at the top of the filter menu. Then select "Shared with Me" again. You should now see all the shared assessments.
